FloydienSlip I love the House of Wires music, and this is a great look at what came before. One notices how different the style is, but although there are some heavier songs on here, I still enjoy them a lot. Thanks for rereleasing this! Favorite track: Me Minus You.

Only 03:54
I'd like to see the world turn to good instead of waste with everyone on board the ark, no reason for a flood I'd like to see the world turn to colors instead of ash so everyone could see the true creation that it is In love only only in I'd like to see my friends up in heaven by my side singing out the songs of the angels' melody

Holy Water 04:50
MInd trance in a minute she is closest to the door and she sees no more the only way to fly. Several things await her there forever getting nearer and the only hope is simply thoughts away. Rebirth anew the only way forget the world forget the flesh it is not murder nor suicide the tide is high - a soothing way to die. Feed the starving love the poor love thy neighbor as yourself - he's getting older learn this lesson soon. Ticking time moments lost did you know that death is every day? Prepare yourself. Don't let your life be wasted. Problem solved you're on your way - or so you thought - it is so easy to become inoperate and lazy. So beware best behavior all the time. Prepare yourself. Don't let your life be wasted.

Me Minus You 03:42
Me minus you what kind of world is this where weapons change to answers and nothing from the past has returned once again, the cycle has continued. I know it will continue thoughts don't go away and so my memory stays in you I know even though we never show it. Have I changed that much? or was it you? Me minus you my puppet hand is tweaked and curled - its lost its momentum free as a bird you are to be and so unfortunate for me and once again the cycle has continued. I know it will continue have I changed that much? or was it you?

Fair Warning 03:04
Could have lied and said you'd seen it coming Couldn't stand another day The cold of Winter even though it's Summer The cold of Winter even though it's Spring By the time you spend a little money By the time you spilled a little blood By the time you've seen it all happen Streets appear in your sleep. (somehow we didn't know)

Love in Vain 06:11
micro talking worm like stalking disturbed absorbed accused abused couldn't find the words so appears to him that he wants her the right position mutual consent agree that she has feelings quite the same her intent is quite the same Steven lifts his head up to the buzzing of a box cost him $39 but it couldn't tell the time and he sits so quiet listening to the alarm and its rhyme masks the ringing of the phone so he's alone and will never know it's her. Poison time an uphill climb a girl in love a boy in love tuned out world forgotten words feelings disappear and it's the end of time.

Inside 03:00
Silent screams and secret tears were always inside of her. She'd hit the floor, she'd hit the wall, she'd blow her eardrums down the hall.
8.
Drifting 04:34
My warm soothing light floods the room; creaking floors, dusty TV humming in the distance (quite the distance); softer, softer, softer, softer, gone... Asleep you start to see yourself. Asleep you start to be something more softer, softer, softer, gone...
9.
You make the waters warm. The wind is cold. I dive. Out of sea from hiding the coast is clear. I dry. I look around my room at silly things I find. I get a broom. I sweep it clean - inside. We all find it hard sometimes. She will set you free. It's not the first time. Things haven't changed. You whisper in my ear "This is not supposed to happen!" We criticize.
10.
You head is shaking. I want to cheer you. I want to take your doubts away. Maybe I'll just have to wait... to wait.. It makes me sad to hear your cries It shakes me up when tears fall I seek answers, I seek answers, I seek answers. Questions are obvious; "who's to blame?" "who's to blame?" (if anyone)
11.
Sense 08:44
if I could see the sun I wouldn't have to close my eyes if I could feel the rain I wouldn't have to stay dry and you know how good it feels
12.
I like it in the morning when it's still dark. I just wish it weren't so cold. The sudden shock of the light caused blindness painted in orange Screaming with the streaming tears, she cried Invisible sirens burst your ears in orange, brown, black. Blackout. Suddenly storming fills your heart from nowhere, past, gone then suddenly silent from the blackout. I like it in the morning when It's still dark. I just wish it weren't so cold.

I'm boxing with this rogue whose reflection is mine and I sense his freedom though his so familiar grin tells stories otherwise the facts are clear, the broken throat; the remaining of the day which seems to coast through the past. I'm eating with this mime whose relation is mine and whose laughter leaves an open mouth of food many times I play this game; always tie my shoe and laugh. and it always happens just a step away. Where's freedom now? give it time. looking on... I'm sitting with this swine whose connection is mine and perhaps I'll keep on waiting through the night and remaining of the day and our see the high winds blow and knock the bees off of my back.
