This is the original version of Moonlight from 1993. A different version was recorded around 1997 or so for a compilation, and I recorded an acoustic version a few years ago for my "acoustic selections" album. This is the version that I always think of and prefer when I remember this song.
lyrics
Winter moons were all alone
she'd hang up in the sky wishing she were dry
longing to fry
she raised her arm to cast a stone
and shattered into a million stars
and shattered into a million stars
and as I look into a moonless sky
I find myself waiting for her return

Great artifacts revived for musical history. This release has all the going on's of a creative mind during Post-punk experimental atmosphere. Thomas Leer informing us that he was there too in the genius pool along the likes of early Human League/ Cabaret Voltaire and TG. My fave song was a Tossup athough I was entranced by the minimal and seductive beauty of Back of My Mind I choose Urbaine for its stark beauty futurism + brilliant signature Leer stream of conscious main keyboard riff.
